Plugin ReSurface

Installation
After downloading the plugin , simple copy the file ReSurface.hxt into the HXT directory your desired A:M installation . The plugin was originally designed as a working relief for me, and therefor raises far no claim to completeness or accuracy, however it is freeware .

Description
This plugin moves  selected cp's / groups to a given distance away from another surface .

Usage
In the modeling mode start the plugin with RMB->Plug-ins->Wizards->ReSurface with a named or temporary group. The group can have also a single cp or a bunch of cp's , they doesn't form a patch (like a splinering).
In a choreography select the model , for which You want to change his contour and start the plugin with RMB->Plug-ins->Wizards->ReSurface.
Be sure that all normals from the model you want to change pointing in the same direction and the model group doesn't intersect the target surface .
The plugin should be always started from the front view (Num-2), otherwise You get crazy results .

 Plugin Dialog
distance to surface distance to keeps the moved cp's away from the hitting surface, can be also a negative value , but not 0 , in this case the diastance is changed to 1e-30
maximum collision distancethe maximum distance , for which is searched a intersection , a good value for a cylinder as example is the radius for the cylinder, if the value is to high and no other surface is hitted before it can come to a selfintersection
work with reversed normalthe normal behavior for this plugin is to work with the reversed normals from the selected patches/model (for the reason of same behavior for splinerings/cp's with no patches), if  the plugin should search for intersection surfaces in the direction where the normals pointing (as shown with Shift-1) activate this checkbox
animated CP'sonly avaible , when the plugin is started from a choreography
if this checkbox is NOT checked , the source model self is changed .
if this checkbox is checked the plugin animates the cp's from the source model for each choreography frame (this can be used than as action)

Here is a short video , where You can see , what the plugin can do .
