Plugin Multiple Models on Path

Installation

After downloading the plugin , simple copy the file MMoP.hxt into the HXT directory your A:M installation .
The plugin was originally designed as a working relief for me , and therefor raises far no claim to completness or accuracy, however it is freeware .

Description

With this plugin you can import a model several times with a given distance on a path or a named group in a choreographie .

Use

From the choreographie you start the plugin on a selected path or named group (temporary groups doesn't work) with RMB->Plugins->Wizards->Multiple Models on Path.

Starting from a path
Start the plugin from a selected path
Start from a group
Start the plugin from a selected named group of a model

The view for the dialog is changed based on the selected option for randomize

maindialog
If it is possible you can also select poses with this dialog
pose multiple selection is in this dialog possible
or actions
actionmultiple selections is in this dialog possible

In the listbox at top of the dialog you select the model that you want import .

When Randomize is set to "none" the number of copies to import is calculated from the spline length/distance . There is no overlapping check for the imported models .
When Randomize is set to "along the path" are maximal number of models are imported as given in Population . Here is a overlapping check (only for the bounding box from the model) used , so it can be that the number of imported models is smaller as given . The models are randomly placed on the spline contour.
When Randomize is set to "beside the path" are maximal number of models are imported as given in Population . Here is a overlapping check (only for the bounding box from the model) used , so it can be that the number of imported models is smaller as given . The models are randomly placed in the area around the spline contour.

With "Store Rotation" checked , the models where rotated , so they fit the direction of the path or spline.

With "Align to ground" checked, the models are placed onto a surface in the Y- direction .
"Add offset" adds a offset in the given direction for each imported model .

If the model has userproperties (poses) you can also select the poses, they should randomized assigned to the imported models (Apply randomized poses must be checked and poses must also be selected in the listbox (multiple selection are possible)), the same for actions.
